How to prepare for exams for the month
You will need
- - textbooks;
- - Notebooks with notes;
- - the Internet.
Take the questions for the exam. Typically, teachers themselves distribute the list as soon as they update it. If you missed the moment of distribution, contact your fellow students for help or take a piece of paper on the department.
Find your lecture notes on the subject. In front of each note put the number of the examination ticket, to which it corresponds. Most often, the lectures are composed according to this principle: one lesson - one topic from the exam.
Take in the library textbooks on the subject. Open them on the pages of the content and, just like in a notebook, mark with a pencil the items corresponding to the examination questions. Even if the chapter of the textbook does not repeat the wording of the ticket in its entirety, look for approximate answers by ticking the relevant sections.
Contact students who have already passed this subject before.If you have an atmosphere of mutual assistance at the institute, they will share their achievements and, possibly, ready-made answers in electronic form.
If after all the actions in the list of questions for the exam there are items for which there is no information, look for it on the Internet. Separate the sources of the necessary information on the accuracy: first read the electronic versions of textbooks, then look through excerpts of dissertations and reports of scientific conferences. Try to find suitable sections in online encyclopedias and scientific journals. Only then can you turn to the online coursework and archives with answers toexams. Check the information from the last group of sources especially carefully.
When the response base is about ready, read all the information. Without delving into the details, analyze all the information for compliance: make sure that one source does not contradict the other.
The next day, read the accumulated information carefully. Along the way, right in the text mark the most important points.
During the third reading, write in the notebook the main points for each answer. It is important to make notes just by hand, and not on the computer: this is how knowledge will be better learned.
Take a list of questions. At random, select one of them and remember the theses of the answer.Do this with all the items in the list, violating the initial sequence of questions.
Ask someone you know to help you prepare. Pull out the first available ticket, write down the abstracts on a piece of paper, and then tell the assistant about the answer. If the listener turns out to be a person far from your profession, this will be an additional advantage: you will have to formulate thoughts as accurately and logically as possible in order to make the answer clear.
