How to cook the dough for waffles on kefir

Waffles can be made on yoghurt or sour cream, but they are more tasty on kefir. Knead the dough quickly, breakfast is ready in just 20-30 minutes. If you have an electric waffle maker, then cooking a delicacy is even easier than in the oven.

According to this recipe, waffles are thin, they are also called Viennese.

Cooking:

  1. Beat eggs with sugar.
  2. Pour in kefir and continue to beat. Add sifted flour and salt, mix well. It should make the dough like pancakes.
  3. Pour in the sunflower oil.
  4. Warm up the electric waffle iron. Grease the top and bottom with butter.
  5. Pour on a hot surface 2 tbsp. l the dough is no longer needed, otherwise it will flow out.
  6. Bake 3-4 min. before the appearance of golden brown.

Wafers should be rolled up hot. The straw can be filled with whipped cream, custard, jam or boiled condensed milk. They are tasty and without filling. If you fold the waffles on top of each other, and put a topping between them, you get a waffle cake.

Recipe for Belgian waffles on kefir in the oven

They are more lush than in the previous recipe, since baking powder should be added to the dough. To make waffles in the oven, buy special silicone molds.

Ingredients:

  • 250 g of flour;
  • 2 tbsp. l melted butter;
  • 4 eggs;
  • 3 tbsp. l Sahara;
  • 350 ml of kefir;
  • 2 tsp. baking powder;
  • a pinch of salt;
  • 10 ml of vegetable oil for lubrication.

Cooking:

  1. Beat eggs with kefir. Pour sugar into melted butter. Connect the egg mass with oil.
  2. Add flour, baking powder and salt. Beat well. The mass should turn out thick, consistency of fat sour cream.
  3. Lubricate the form of vegetable oil and pour the dough.
  4. Bake in preheated oven at 200 C 10 min. on the one hand and 3-4 min. with another. Waffles should be browned on both sides.

If you serve the dish to the guests, fill it with topping.To do this, melt the dark chocolate bar and add to this mass 50 g of cream with a fat content of at least 30%. Garnish with fresh berries or chopped nuts on top.
