How to cook cookies "Brad"

You will need
  • - melted butter - 1 cup;
  • - semolina - 3 cups;
  • - water - 50 ml;
  • - salt - pinch.
  • For filling:
  • - butter - 30-50 g;
  • - rose water - 20-30 ml;
  • - ground cinnamon - pinch;
  • - dates - 300 g;
  • - salt - pinch.
Melt the butter with a water bath, combine it with the following ingredients: semolina and a pinch of salt. Stir the mixture with your hands, gradually adding water to it. Thus, you get a mass with a uniform consistency - the dough for the future of cookies.
Cut the kneaded dough into 2 parts - they should be equal to each other. Put them aside for about a quarter of an hour.
While the dough is “resting”, so to speak, prepare the “Bradzh” cookie filling. To do this, remove the bones from the dried fruit. Then hold the dates on the steam bath for 15 minutes. After a time, place them in a free bowl and add ingredients such as melted butter, ground cinnamon, as well as salt and rose water.Put this mass into the bowl of the blender and carefully chop to a smooth consistency.
Roll out two pieces of dough into layers of the same size. On one of these layers lay out an even layer of date stuffing. Cover the mixture with the remaining dough. The resulting "design" gently level with a rolling pin and cut so that they are equal to each other pieces.
Fry the pieces of dough on each side, always on a dry frying pan, until golden brown appears. Cookies "Brad" ready!
