How to Make 2‐Ingredient Ice Cream

  • 4 large ripe bananas
  • 3-4 tablespoons whole milk or heavy cream

2 Ingredient Strawberry Ice Cream

  • 4 large ripe bananas, frozen, peeled and sliced
  • 1 pound frozen strawberries, sliced

2 Ingredient Peanut Butter Ice Cream

  • 4 large ripe bananas
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter

2 Ingredient Coconut Ice Cream

  • 2 cups (16 ounces) cold heavy cream
  • 14 ounces pre-sweetened cream of coconut

2 Ingredient Soda Ice Cream

  • 4 cups any flavored soda, ice cold
  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk

2 Ingredient Peach Ice Cream

  • 2 cups frozen peach slices
  • ¼ cup full-fat milk or heavy cream

2 Ingredient Cherry Ice Cream

  • 1 pound (3 cups) pitted and frozen dark cherries.
  • 1½ - 2 cups half-and-half

Steps

Simple 2 Ingredient Ice Cream

  1. Whip the heavy cream with an electric mixer.In a large bowl, beat the heavy cream for about 2-3 minutes on high speed. Beat until stiff peaks begin to form.
  2. Slowly combine in the condensed milk.Mix on low speed until fully combined.
    • Some people suggest adding a teaspoon of vanilla extract, if desired. While this is optional and makes the recipe 3 ingredient ice cream, it adds a good amount of flavor to the dessert.
  3. Bring the speed to a higher level and keep mixing.Continue beating and mixing until the ice cream base has stiff peaks and is thick.
  4. Pour the ice cream mixture into a container.Scrape out all the mixture into a large, airtight container. Cover it with aluminium foil or close it tightly with a lid.
    • If you'd like, you can flavor the ice cream base and add extra desired ingredients. Crumbled cake or cupcakes, crumbled cheesecake, breakfast cereal, Oreo cookies, and fruit puree are all good ingredients to add to the ice cream.
  5. Freeze the ice cream for 6 hours till overnight.

  1. Pour half of the milk in a saucepan or milk scalder.
  2. Add the chopped chocolate to the milk.
  3. Melt the chocolate over low heat.Stir frequently with a spoon, heating until the chocolate melts.
    • Take caution not to over-cook and scald the chocolate. Don't wait for it to boil; Only heat it until the chocolate fully melts.

  5. Freeze the ice cream for 6 hours till overnight.

  1. Peel the bananas and discard the peels.
  2. Slice the bananas into 2-inch chunks.Place them in a freezer-proof container or Ziploc bag.
  3. Freeze the bananas for about 6 hours until solid.
  4. Blend the bananas in an electric blender.Mix until the bananas are well-mashed, taking about 2-3 minutes on high speed.
  5. Add the heavy cream or milk and mix once more.
  6. Place the banana mixture into a freezer-proof container.Close tightly with a lid or cover with plastic wrap.
  7. Freeze the banana ice cream for about 6 hours till overnight.
