Baked Peppers and Cheese Rolls
I propose to cook a wonderful seasonal snack - very tasty, healthy, colorful and bright - rolls of baked bell pepper with cheese and basil!
- 2 pcs. large red pepper
- 100 g of medium salted cheese
- 1 basil sprig
- 1 tsp. olive oil
- Salt and Provencal herbs - to taste
Wash the pepper, spread it on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil and bake in a well-heated oven until cooked. From time to time, pepper should be turned over. For proper texture, it should be soft and brown on the sides.
Put the finished pepper in a bowl or cellophane bag, which should be tied and allowed to cool. This procedure will make peppers easier to clean.
Peel off the cooled peppers, remove the seeds and cut into long strips of 4-5 cm.
Leaves of basil are finely chopped. Mix with chopped cheese, olive oil, salt and spices. Carefully mash with a fork.
Put on prepared strips of pepper stuffing.Fold small rolls and cut them into smaller rolls. If desired, sprinkle with olive oil and cool thoroughly.
