Apple rings in batter
Apple rings in batteris a recipe.
- 1 sour apple;
- 1 egg
- 1/2 lemon;
- 50 grams of fat sour cream;
- 50 ml of olive oil;
- 2 tbsp. l. flour;
- 2 tbsp. l. potato starch;
- 1 tsp. baking powder;
- A pinch of nutmeg.
We clean the apple, without cutting, remove the core and cut into 5 mm thick rings. Sprinkle apple rings with lemon juice so that they do not darken.
Combine the flour, starch, egg and baking powder, pour in 60 ml of ice water and knead the batter. If necessary, add some more ice water.
Heat olive oil in a small saucepan. We lower the apple rings into the stew and fry them in boiling oil until a ruddy crust. Fry the apples on a paper towel to remove excess fat.
Sprinkle apples with nutmeg and serve with sour cream.
