Alexander Milov and his touching wire sculpture
Ukrainian sculptor, blacksmith and designer Alexander Milov created the famous wire sculpture that depicts figures of people sitting with their backs to each other. However, when night falls, the sculptures of children stretching out to each other's hands begin to glow within people. Milov's sculpture titled “Love” depicts the scene of the conflict of hope and innocence.
“The sculpture shows a conflict between a man and a woman. The figures of the main characters are made in the form of large metal cells, where their inner “I” is captivated. Their inner "I" is made in the form of transparent children who stretch their hands through the bars. As it gets dark, the figures of the children begin to shine. This shine is a symbol of purity and sincerity, which unites people and makes it possible to touch each other when dark time comes, ”says Alexander Milov.
