A pie with cabbage

You will need
  • For the filling: flour - 2 tbsp.; hard-boiled egg - 4 pcs; onions - 2 onions; sauerkraut - 550 g; vegetable oil - for roasting; lubrication egg - 1 pc; fresh cabbage - 1 kg.
  • For the test: egg - 1 pc; water - 130 ml; dry yeast - 5 g; salt - 1 pinch; wheat flour - 220 g; sugar - tsp; butter - 20 g
Instruction
To cook a pie with cabbage, clean the head from the top leaves, remove the stalk and chop. Sprinkle with salt and let stand 15 minutes. Then squeeze out the juice with force.
Peel the onions and cut into half rings. Heat the pan with vegetable oil, fry the onions for 3 minutes, add the cabbage and cook another 5 minutes. Next, remove the pan from the heat and cool.
In another pan, fry the chopped and pressed sauerkraut, with some vegetable oil added. It will take about 3 minutes. Finely chop the eggs, mix both types of cabbage. Add flour and eggs to them, mix.
It's time to make the dough for the pie with cabbage.Sift the flour into a bowl, form a hill and add butter, slices, egg, sugar and salt.
Put the yeast in the center of the hill, cover it with water. Knead the dough and put it on the table, knead for 2 minutes. Collect into a ball and knead for another 2 minutes. Perform this operation 5 times. The dough should stop sticking to the working surface, which is not sprinkled with flour.
We continue to cook a pie with cabbage. Wrap the dough in a wrap and leave to warm for 20 minutes. Next, sprinkle the table with flour and knead the dough with your hands. Divide it into 2 parts. Roll each into a rectangular thin layer.
Preheat the oven to 180 oC, grease a baking sheet with butter and place one layer of dough on it. Put the stuffing on top, cover with the second layer and fasten the edges. From above, make a few holes, grease the pie with cabbage with a beaten egg with a fork. Place in the oven and bake for 40 minutes.
After that, a pie with cabbage will be ready. You can serve it, having cooled it, as an independent dish with milk, jelly or tea. Many will be glad to such a useful and tasty dish.
